Key Responsibilities :
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair:
- Systematically review existing PHP code and configuration across various web properties to diagnose and repair critical issues, specifically those related to missing, corrupted, or misconfigured WordPress login PHP files.
- Restore full login functionality for both administrative and content management users, ensuring secure and reliable access.
- Identify and analyze problematic custom PHP code, outdated functions, and legacy configurations that contribute to website instability, security vulnerabilities, or poor performance.
- Proactively develop and implement fixes, patches, and code refactoring to stabilize the application environment.
- Audit and evaluate installed WordPress plugins, identifying outdated or insecure extensions, and proposing/implementing modern, secure alternatives.
- Apply best practices for WordPress core updates, security hardening, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reusable PHP modules and WordPress themes/plugins.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless deployment and integration of fixes and new features.
- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience in PHP development.
- Extensive PHP Development: Expert-level proficiency in modern PHP (7.x and 8.x), including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Deep WordPress Development: Proven, in-depth experience with the WordPress core, API, hooks (actions and filters), database structure, security best practices, and performance tuning.
- Mandatory: Demonstrable, hands-on experience in reviewing existing codebases to quickly isolate and resolve complex issues, especially those involving missing, corrupted, or non-functional WordPress login files.
- Proven ability to restore administrative and content management access in compromised or damaged WordPress installations.
- Expertise in identifying and remedying problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations contributing to instability.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Database: Strong proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB, including query optimization and schema design.
- Front-End Acumen: Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery) as they relate to PHP and WordPress theme integration.
- Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Advanced security awareness and experience mitigating common web vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection)
