Lead Amura’s Development and QA teams to ship fast, stable, compliant web experiences across Shopify storefronts, WordPress/Laravel/Drupal sites, landing pages, and microsites. You’ll drive predictable delivery, reduce client friction after launch, ensure marketing data readiness (GA4, pixels, CRM), and scale automation and agentic AI to improve quality and speed. You’ll champion Figma-to-build accuracy, SEO/WCAG/W3C hygiene, and performance-aware design, while rolling out Vibe coding tools, agentic AI assistants, and workflow automations across squads.
What You’ll Own (outcomes)
Predictable delivery: Tighten plan vs actual; keep milestones on time; publish a weekly risk/decision log.
Low-friction launches: Lift “first-time-right” rate; reduce client-reported issues; raise UAT satisfaction.
Marketing readiness: Code-level GA4/GTM event hooks and pixels with evidence packs (GTM Preview, network traces).
Data integrity & CRM: Reliable integrations with Kylas, Zoho, Sell.do; parity between site/app data and CRM; zero attribution breaks.
Release rhythm & hosting efficiency: Twice-monthly releases; sensible DigitalOcean/AWS EC2 sizing; effective CDN and cache rules.
Reusable building blocks: Grow FE/BE libraries; cut repeat work and recurring defects.
Automation & AI at scale: Deploy agentic AI and workflow automations to reduce manual checks, triage, and ops—measured time saved and quality uplift.
People & handoffs: Strong checklists and clean handovers across UI/UX → Dev → QA → PPC/Analytics; continuous upskilling.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
Own delivery across multiple properties (Shopify 2.0, WordPress, Laravel, Drupal, landing pages, microsites).
Review solution notes for major releases (flows, data sources, acceptance criteria, edge cases); keep builds aligned to design and marketing needs.
Ensure accurate code-level dataLayer pushes / JavaScript events and API payloads for GA4/Ads (values, currency, IDs, item arrays).
Oversee CRM integrations (field mapping, retries/queues, logs/monitoring); partner with Analytics to validate parity.
Establish CDN policies, image formats (AVIF/WebP), and asset versioning; keep pages lightweight without sacrificing creativity.
Implement and supervise agentic AI usage across Dev/QA (e.g., automated test suggestions, log triage, spec-to-checklist generation, onboarding copilots).
Roll out Vibe coding tools and AI pair-programming (e.g., ChatGPT, secure code assistants) for minor sections, boilerplate, and refactors—set guardrails and code review expectations.
Stand up workflow automations (e.g., n8n, and where suitable Zapier/Make) for lead routing, alerts, QA smoke triggers, nightly clean-ups, and deployment notifications.
Maintain a practical deployment and monitoring routine (twice-monthly cadence, backups, alerts, health checks) on DigitalOcean droplets / AWS EC2.
Run a weekly Dev/QA health board (opened/closed, aging, blockers, parity gaps) and drive escalations to closure.
Coach Tech Leads, Senior Engineers, and QA Leads; ensure clear code reviews, evidence-based sign-offs, and measurable skill growth.
Team & reporting
Direct reports: Tech Leads, Front-end & Back-end Engineers (senior to trainee), QA Leads/Analysts.
Partners: UI/UX Lead & Designers (Figma), PPC (GTM owners), Analytics (GA4/Looker Studio), Account/Project Owners.
Tech & tools you’ll work with
Front-end: Modern JS, Shopify 2.0 (JSON), GSAP/SVG/CSS for motion, design system components.
Back-end: PHP (WordPress, Laravel, Drupal), REST APIs for analytics & Google Looker Studio.
Martech & data: GA4, GTM (PPC manages container), code-level tracking hooks, pixels; Kylas, Zoho, Sell.do.
Automation & AI: Vibe coding tools, Agentic AI assistants (spec → tests, log triage, code suggestions, release notes), n8n (plus Zapier/Make where appropriate).
Hosting & delivery: DigitalOcean, AWS, CDN (cache rules, image formats), GitLab for versioning and peer feedback.
What We’re Looking For (qualifications)
7–12 years in web development, with 3+ years leading cross-functional Development + QA teams in a Martech/digital environment.
Proven delivery of Shopify storefronts, performance-first landing pages, and multi-property websites (WordPress/Laravel/Drupal).
Hands-on experience with CRM integrations: Zoho (incl. APIs/webhooks), Salesforce (REST/Bulk, objects/fields, auth), plus exposure to Kylas and Sell.do; comfort with field mapping, retries/queues, and data parity validation.
Strong grounding in GA4/GTM (Dev owns code-level hooks), marketing pixels, and evidence-based tracking readiness.
Solid understanding of technical SEO, WCAG 2.1, and W3C standards; able to enforce these at design and build handoff.
Practical server-side skills in PHP (WordPress, Laravel, Drupal) and API design for analytics/Looker Studio.
Modern delivery tooling: GitLab for versioning and peer feedback; containerization with Docker; environment orchestration and scaling with Kubernetes (nice to have if not core on every project).
Hosting and performance sensibilities on DigitalOcean and AWS EC2, plus CDN policies (cache rules, image formats, asset versioning).
Experience introducing and governing AI assistants (e.g., Vibe coding tools, ChatGPT/agentic workflows) and workflow automations (n8n/Zapier/Make) with measurable impact.
Clear, structured communication; turns client goals into buildable specs, measurable outcomes, and crisp handoffs with UI/UX, PPC, and Analytics.
Nice to have
Cost/performance tuning on DO/AWS; CDN cache and image policies; basic observability.
Experience with privacy/consent UX patterns and their effect on tracking and performance.
Familiarity with experimentation/A-B tooling, heatmaps/recordings, and CDP/tag governance.

Release & hosting: cadence met, cost per 1,000 visits reduced, CDN cache hit ratio and TTFB improvements.
Reuse & debt: number and adoption of shared modules/components; recurring rework causes eliminated.
Automation & AI impact: % manual effort reduced, cycle-time gains, defect/issue reductions attributed to AI/automation.
People: training cadence, cross-skilling completion, review turnaround, partner team satisfaction.
