Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and validate secure network connectivity between Salesforce, CDS Cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Implement and optimize network solutions across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability and seamless traffic flow.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPN/IPSec tunnels, DNS, load balancers, and routing protocols to support business operations.
• Perform continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of network infrastructure.
• Ensure network security controls and policies are effectively enforced to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and infrastructure deployments.
• Maintain network documentation including architecture diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and root-cause analysis to resolve network issues promptly.
• Implement network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in hybrid cloud networking across on-premises and cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Azure, AWS, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, IPSec VPNs, DNS, BGP/OSPF routing, and load balancing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Splunk).
• Solid understanding of Zero-Trust security principles, network segmentation, and NAC solutions.
• Knowledge of network performance tuning and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with compliance frameworks and cyber security policies.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud networking gateways preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, Network+, Azure/AWS networking certifications) are an advantage.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar technical role.
