We are now looking for a TRAINEE for the Una Europa team working under International Affairs team.
As a trainee, your main tasks will be to support the implementation of a researcher mobility pilot and a staff training week and to work with student engagement-related tasks. The UH Una Europa researcher mobility pilot is an internal instrument to offer opportunities for researchers to get to know our Una Europa partners and build connections to initiate new research collaboration. Your role would be to support the launch of the pilot and implement the application and awarding process. UH will also organize an Una Europa staff week for the participants of its 11 partner institutions related to teaching and learning in Una Europa partner universities. Your role in the staff week would be to help with administrative and coordination tasks related to organizing the week. Other tasks of the trainee are related to working with student engagement.
As a trainee, you will work closely and in collaboration with the Una Europa team. Your tasks will include:
- supporting the Project Manager in implementing the researcher mobility pilot;
- administrative and communication tasks related to organizing the researcher mobility pilot;
- administrative, coordination and communication tasks related to Una Europa staff week;
- tasks related to student engagement such as supporting local student events and documentation of student activities for an alliance-wide report
- other supportive administrative tasks and other work that align with your interests.
We expect you to have fluency in spoken and written English. Finnish and/or Swedish skills are considered an asset. You have a proactive way of working and excellent communication and teamwork skills. You are familiar with using a variety of communication tools. Experience in mobility-related processes and communications is an advantage.

The traineeship starts in early January and lasts until the end of June 2026. The internship is full-time, but the working hours allow for participation in individual courses. The salary of a trainee is €1500 per month.
