This role provides the opportunity to architect, develop, and maintain cloud-native software for large-scale IoT and industrial AI deployments. You will work on backend and frontend systems, optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Leveraging modern tools and AI-assisted development, you will tackle complex technical challenges, identify performance bottlenecks, and contribute to resilient, distributed architectures. This position combines technical leadership, hands-on coding, and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Accountabilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain the software platform for large-scale IoT and industrial AI deployments
- Refactor and extend existing codebases, improve APIs, test coverage, and resolve security vulnerabilities
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks, leveraging profiling, benchmarking, and state analysis tools
- Collaborate with team members using agile methodologies and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate high-quality delivery
- Design and maintain resilient inter-service communication using event-driven systems, reactive programming, and technologies like gRPC
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and ensure the software meets scalability, availability, and reliability standards
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise
- Proven experience in architecting, developing, and delivering modern cloud-native applications
- Hands-on experience with React, reactive state management, and UI frameworks such as Chakra UI
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), GitOps principles, and tools like ArgoCD and Helm
- Knowledge of feature toggles, A/B testing, and distributed architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive projects to completion
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within teams
- Experience with high-scale, event-driven, and distributed systems is highly desirable
