Are you passionate about technology and helping others solve technical challenges? We’re looking for a skilled and proactive IT Technician Support Specialist to join our growing IT team! In this role, you’ll provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth operations across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering excellent user experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and applications
- Troubleshoot IT problems and provide effective solutions for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory or similar systems
- Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk)
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and provide user training
- Monitor system performance, apply updates, and ensure compliance with IT policies
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, firewalls)
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus
- Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
