Full Stack Developer

Great – we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing team of #Arbonautees!

Arbonaut is a technology company providing Geographic Information Systems for managing natural resources, especially forests, worldwide. Our customers are private and public organizations on all continents. We employ around 60 people from more than 15 different countries.

In your position as a Full Stack Developer you will help us to maintain and improve our existing services, in addition to planning and implementing new services for our customers. You are responsible for developing quality solutions that bring value for our clients.

To succeed in this position, you need

• 5+ years of experience in application development (backend and front end)
• Experience in Java / SpringBoot and Rust development
• Experience in React frontend development
• Experience in developing containerized microservices
• 3+ years of experience from Azure cloud or Amazon Web Services
• Understanding of basic concepts of Geographic Information management and Geographic Information Systems
• Experience in API development and integrations
• Appropriate bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Fluent English language skills and ability to communicate also in Finnish
• To have a team player mentality

We also appreciate if you have experience in

• GIS related opensource solutions such as GeoServer, Mapserver, OpenLayers,…
• CI/CD pipelines
• test automation
• other development languages
