Backend Engineer (Go/AWS)

Our client is looking for a talented Backend Developer (PHP/Symfony) to join their e-commerce team and help build scalable, high-performance APIs in a cloud environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Tackle Complex Challenges: Analyze, design, and develop systems to solve technical challenges and improve our e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with QA: Work closely with our Quality Assurance team to build, test, and deploy new features seamlessly.
• Refactor for Excellence: Continuously refine and optimize the codebase through thoughtful refactoring to improve maintainability.
• Boost Performance & Stability: Ensure the usability, performance, and stability of our live systems with continuous improvements and updates.
• Code Reviews: Maintain the highest standards of code quality by participating in regular code reviews with the team.
• Document Solutions: Document new applications and software solutions thoroughly to ensure smooth knowledge transfer across the team.

WHO YOU ARE

• Golang Enthusiast: Experience with Golang is a major plus, but if you’re willing to learn it, that works too!
• PHP Whiz: You have solid experience working with PHP and are excited to work with the Symfony Framework.
• E-Commerce Expertise: You’re familiar with large-scale e-commerce systems and understand the domain’s challenges and best practices.
• API Pro: You have hands-on experience building APIs and ensuring their performance and security.
• AWS Knowledgeable: You’re familiar with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem and its cloud offerings (SQS, SNS, S3).
• Team Player: You thrive in a team environment and have strong communication skills in English.
