Role Overview

We are looking to hire a talented Associate iOS Software Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of engineers to develop, improve, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Application Development Support
• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining iOS mobile applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with team members (developers, designers, product managers) to implement app features and user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings to discuss technical solutions and receive constructive feedback.
• Bug Fixing & Maintenance
• Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing iOS applications.
• Assist in updating, refactoring, and optimizing app performance.
• Testing
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability.
• Help conduct integration testing and support QA processes.
• Documentation
• Contribute to technical documentation for code, processes, and APIs.
• Document new features, bug fixes, and relevant changes for future reference.
• Learning & Growth
• Stay current with new iOS trends, frameworks, and development tools.
• Willingly learn from more experienced developers and attend professional development workshops/trainings.
• Adherence to Standards
• Follow company coding standards, best practices, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Apple’s design and deployment guidelines.
  
  

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required

• Some hands‑on experience with iOS development, either through internships, academic projects, or 0–1.5 years of professional work.
• Enthusiasm and passion for building user‑friendly mobile applications that customers will enjoy.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) through coursework, training, or prior projects.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into iOS applications.
• Ability to design and implement simple, maintainable user interfaces with guidance from senior developers.
• Awareness of software development best practices and the app release cycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and pipelines (can be from academic, project, or internship experience).
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems for collaborative coding.
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in multi‑threading and asynchronous code (theory and/or small‑scale practical use).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
