Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer.

In this role, you will develop and enhance Java-based applications that support taxation, account management, and investment processing within pension and savings products.

The role involves designing and maintaining applications, building calculation engines to ensure compliance with tax regulations, and developing integrations with tax authorities and reporting solutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with financial analysts to translate business needs into efficient technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java 21+ and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.)
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles"
• Experience from banking/finance
