Job Title: Frontend Developer (React / Next.js) – Remote (Open to Global Applicants)

About the Role

IO Tech is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and Next.js to join our global development team. In this fully remote role, you’ll work on building intuitive, high-performance web applications that deliver seamless user experiences across devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using React, JavaScript (ES6+), and Next.js.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS.
• Implement and manage application state using Redux or Context API.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL, handling data-fetching via Axios or Fetch API.
• Ensure top performance and scalability through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while maintaining version control using Git.
• Implement testing strategies using Jest or similar tools to ensure code reliability and minimize bugs.
• Configure and optimize modern build tools like Webpack and Vite.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to responsive design principles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on React and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and frameworks like React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux and Context API.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest.
• Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and working with Axios or Fetch API.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques like code splitting and lazy loading.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong focus on performance optimization and maintainability.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
