About the Role

IO Tech is seeking a talented Backend Developer with strong experience in .NET technologies to join our growing global development team. In this fully remote position, you’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions that power high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver application requirements.
• Design and implement database structures using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Ensure application security, data integrity, and performance best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both development and production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to process improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Proficiency with Entity Framework (EF) or Dapper for database access.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT, IdentityServer).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET 6 or newer versions.
• Exposure to cloud-native development and microservices deployment.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React is a plus.
