Key Responsibilities

  • Audit & Controls: Oversee multiple concurrent statutory and group audits across 5+ entities; ensure audit readiness, documentation integrity, and compliance with ADGM and best standards
  • Accounting & Reporting: Lead end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements; manage 8+ monthly shareholder reporting cycles
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across all entities; provide insights to guide executive decision-making
  • Management Accounts: Develop monthly management accounts for internal and Oracle submission
  • Treasury Management: Manage shareholder cash calling, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding in line with permitted cash balances
  • Tax Planning & Compliance: Oversee VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory filings in line with ADGM and UAE requirements
  • Internal Controls & Risk: Strengthen governance through robust internal controls, risk management, and audit coordination
  • Investment Support: Partner with the Commercial and Investments teams on financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence
  • Policy & Governance: Develop and enforce finance policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
  • Insurance & Risk Management: Oversee financial, FX, credit, and operational risk exposures; manage insurance across all assets
  • Cost & Procurement Oversight: Monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets; ensure cost control and transparent procurement


Candidate Attributes

  • 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within complex, multi-entity or infrastructure organizations
  • Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent qualification required; CFA or MBA is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing audit, FP&A, and treasury functions under strict reporting timelines
  • Proven capability in consolidated reporting, financial modelling, and governance frameworks aligned with sovereign/holding-company standards
  • Strong understanding of ADGM and UAE regulatory frameworks (VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, Transfer Pricing)
  • Proven record of leading high-performing teams, driving automation, and optimizing reporting accuracy
  • Experience in digital infrastructure, data centres, or energy sectors preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to engage C-suite, Board, and shareholder representatives
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring financial resilience and long-term growth
