Based in Oslo, CBA (Commercial Banking Applications) is an integral part of the United Fintech platform. The IBAS system powers payments and automation for international banks, helping financial institutions modernise their operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. To strengthen our team, we are now seeking a Product Manager - Payments to join our growing team in Oslo.

The Role
As Product Manager, you will play an active role in the ongoing development and delivery of our payments solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Defining, designing, and testing new functionality within the IBAS system
 - Ensuring system documentation remains accurate and up to date
 - Supporting sales, development, and implementation projects
 - Conducting training for customers, colleagues, and partners
 - Providing maintenance and support for our international customer base
 - Participating in long-term customer engagements and projects abroad
 
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals with a structured and analytical mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and a genuine interest in financial technology.
You Will Likely Bring
- Experience within a financial institution or with a banking or fintech technology provider
 - Familiarity with payments or related areas such as:
 - Swift and ISO 20022
 - Cross-Border Payments and Direct Debits
 - SEPA Payments and Instant Payments
 - RTGS (e.g. TARGET2) Payments
 - Payment transaction investigations
 - Experience with the specification, design, or implementation of IT systems for banking
 - Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written
 - The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
 - Willingness to travel internationally occasionally as part of client or project engagements
 
We also welcome candidates with limited payments experience but a clear motivation to develop expertise in this field.
