Job Title: BI Reporting Analyst III
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 09 months
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product Development, Experience Design, Finance, Marketing and other internal and external cross functional teams to provide data driven insights for in-product initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Responsible for analyzing large quantities of customer-centric data to uncover key insights and provide recommendations that business can leverage to execute marketing initiatives
• Develop and implement reporting solutions including custom reports, ad-hoc queries and data exports from various applications to support analytical objectives
• Collaborates with business stakeholders in acting on complex, multi-source data to explore, generate and test business assumptions
• Recommends/sets data standards to improve quality of data and speed of analysis
• Create and manage business processes and applications for acquisition, processing, and management of large quantities of data using high-level programming languages
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for key analytics processes
• Partner with Data Architects on changes associated with data systems or system interfaces
• Collaborates with others in building innovative data capture and real-time analytic capabilities needed by the business (e.g. requirements identification, design specification, prototype testing)
Skills: Qualifications:
• 5 years’ of experience working strategically with data in the areas of: business analysis, marketing performance optimization, audience building, cross-channel and product analytics
• Prepared data sets and reports to support more complex analysis
• Analytical and detail-oriented mind-set with an eye for details
• A strong client partnership or consulting mindset to interact effectively with technical and non-technical partners
• Ability to work independently, under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and influence change
• Outstanding team player who is able to work seamlessly with cross functional stakeholders and analytics team members
• Very organized approach to managing workload with ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Awesome communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data, the context surrounding it, and the implications to business stakeholders
• Experience with tools like Tableau or Qlikview is required
• Hands-on working knowledge on media and analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and G Analytics
• Advanced proficiency with SQL or other RDBMS databases highly preferred
