Job Description

  • Develop submodules of the AMEI Repository System.
  • Events
  • Resources
  • People Search
  • Academic Paper Cataloguing
  • Research Materials
  • Projects Archive
  • User Management
  • Incorporate AMEI’s branding on the sites.
  • Report to the Senior Development Learning Technologist and Senior Manager.
  • Write clean, functional, and efficient code for both back-end and front-end systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software, resolving bugs and coding-related issues.
  • Document and track bugs for reporting on GitLab.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Have experience in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES6+) and JQuery
  • Have experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js
  • Have experience in PHP MVC framework, OOP concepts and design patterns (e.g, Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework), and MySQL database.
  • Have experience in Git software version control.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, well organised and able to work individually and as part of a dynamic team.
