Full Stack Developer (Mobile + AI)

Background

MyMedVault (MMV) is a Singapore-based healthtech startup building a secure, interoperable personal health vault and integrated device platform. Our mission is to give patients ownership and control of their health data while enabling seamless communication with doctors and supporting wellness services. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Mobile + AI) to join our team at an exciting growth stage. This role is central to developing and scaling our mobile application, device integrations, and AI-powered features that improve patient engagement and usability. You will work closely with the leadership team and cross-functional partners, contributing to a product that makes a real impact in people’s lives.

Job scope

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile and web applications.
• Mobile Development: Build and launch cross-platform apps with React Native; publish to App Store and Play Store.
• Backend & APIs: Architect secure and scalable backend systems (Node.js, Python, Java), and integrate third-party APIs (Stripe, Twilio, Spike, etc.).
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerised services (Kubernetes/Lambda).
• AI Integration:
• -Leverage AI coding tools (Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to boost development efficiency.
• -Implement GPT Vision and NLP APIs for medical text processing, multilingual support, and UX features like chatbots, summarisation, and personalisation.
• Database Management: Design and optimise databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) for sensitive healthcare data.
• Quality & Security: Implement testing frameworks, ensure compliance with security and healthcare data privacy best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class product.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies in mobile, AI, and healthcare IT.
• Architect and oversee multi-cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Define and enforce security, privacy, and compliance standards (PDPA, GDPR) across all systems, applications, and data flows.
• Establish DevOps, CI/CD, and observability practices that improve code quality, deployment reliability, and system resilience.
• Align technology strategy with business objectives, advising leadership on emerging technologies, technical debt management, and long-term platform evolution.

Core Requirements (Must-Haves)

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in React Native (3+ years hands-on).
• Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Python, Node.js, and/or Java.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and container familiarity (Kubernetes/Lambda).
• Proven experience publishing applications to App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and state management.
• Hands-on architecture and coding — this is a build-first, lead-by-doing role.
• AI integration skills: practical experience connecting GPT-based APIs (Vision, NLP, multilingual) and applying them to user-facing features.
• Experience with secure databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) and handling sensitive data.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in InterSystems Community Edition data platforms.

• AI & Healthcare:
• -Predictive analytics, doctor decision-support, or fraud/anomaly detection using AI.
• -Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
• Additional Tech:
• -SingPass Intergration Experience.
• -Supabase, GWC.
• -PWA (Progressive Web Apps) & Lovable framework.
• -Native mobile dev with Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
• -Broader DevOps (Terraform, Docker, Infrastructure as Code).
