DCI is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Kent, WA to collaborate with the development team and help drive our DevOps initiatives. If you are passionate about automation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and efficiency of cloud-based systems, then DCI could be a perfect fit for you!
What You'll Do
You'll work closely with our development and IT groups to build and maintain solutions that help our customers collect and share data worldwide:
- Design and implement DevOps infrastructure projects in collaboration with the development team
 - Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
 - Research, implement, and maintain security measures and practices to help protect infrastructure, applications, and data
 - Monitoring and validation of backups for essential services and data
 - Continuously evaluate existing systems and make recommendations for improvement, including situations where infrastructure services are being retired
 - Second-level troubleshooting of customer issues
 
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
 - 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
 - Strong understanding of Azure services and tools
 - Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
 - Experience with automation tooling (e.g., Terraform)
 - Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
 - Understanding of monitoring tools
 - Familiarity with deployment of applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play is a plus
 
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
 - Strong communicator, both written and oral, that can collaborate with multiple groups within the company
 - Committed to driving to goals and milestones while maintaining a strong attention to detail
 - Analytical thinker with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills

- DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis
 - Pay range: $123,700 - $142,500 per year. To ensure equity, our compensation philosophy is to bring people into new roles in the range of the mid-point of that role. Factors considered for pay include the level of skill, experience, training, external market factors, and internal value.
 - Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 11% and 17%. Future bonuses could be higher or lower depending on company profits
