We’re seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in banking to design, build, and optimize data models and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and Power BI, and is passionate about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models and schemas to support BI and analytics initiatives.
- Use SQL to query, transform, and optimize large datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports, applying UX and visualization best practices.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver meaningful insights.
- Apply data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas) to structure data efficiently.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure smooth integration and reporting workflows.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and drive continuous process improvement.
- Banking industry experience is required.
- Strong SQL proficiency with proven experience in data modeling and schema design.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling).
- Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and visual analytics.
- Solid ETL experience (Alteryx preferred but not required).
- Proven ability to manipulate and optimize large datasets for analytics.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience working in cross-functional data environments.
- Familiarity with other data visualization or ETL tools.
- Background in business analysis, data engineering, or analytics consulting.
