IT Manager

As Technology Manager you’ll ensure our computers are installed properly, working efficiently and that system security measures are in place. You’ll also install new systems to improve hotel always following standards and guidelines and make sure your team have the tools and resources they need to work well.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Manage and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other hotel-specific software.
• Ensure data security and implement cybersecurity measures to protect guest and company information.
• Provide technical support and training to staff for various systems and devices.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network solutions.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve operational efficiency and guest service.
• Manage technology budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements related to data privacy and security.
  
  

What We need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and hotel management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and training abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
  
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
• Experience with cloud-based systems and emerging hospitality technologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software platforms (e.g., Opera PMS, MICROS, OPERA).
