This role involves enhancing our existing infrastructure to support intelligent, data-driven learning experiences, integrating modern tools and frameworks to make the platform smarter and more adaptive over time. You’ll collaborate with our content and product teams to create new API connections, manage complex data flows, and build scalable backend logic for a rapidly growing EdTech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize Laravel-based backend modules for our LMS
- Develop API integrations that connect course and user data across multiple systems
- Work with SCORM packages to extract and sync learning activity data
- Collaborate on data-driven enhancements that improve learner experience and content delivery
- Utilize Cursor or similar AI-powered IDEs for development and collaboration
- Ensure the platform meets performance, scalability, and security standards
- Laravel (5+ years) — strong backend architecture and API experience
- SCORM / LMS familiarity
- MySQL / REST APIs / JSON
- Experience with AI-assisted IDEs (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Git (Bitbucket or GitHub) workflow experience
- Understanding of modular system design and adaptive user experiences
- Prior experience in EdTech or e-learning systems
- Exposure to AI / NLP / LLM API integrations
- Strong sense of UI-backend coordination (Figma, front-end data flow)
- Experience deploying to AWS / Forge environments
- IDE: Cursor (preferred)
- Framework: Laravel 10+
- DB: MySQL (AWS RDS)
- Repo: Bitbucket
- Collaboration: Teams / Jira / Figma
