iOS/Android Developer (Fixed-Term Contract – 4 Months)

I am partnering with a leading FMCG business to find an experienced iOS/Android Developer for a 4-month, hybrid contract role based in Buckingham.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Mobile App Developer to join a global team working on the build and optimisation of next-generation mobile applications.

Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will take ownership of developing new features, improving app performance, and ensuring an outstanding user experience across both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bugs, continuously improving app efficiency.
• Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Support the deployment of apps to the App Store and Google Play.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven commercial experience in both iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
• Experience working with APIs, Firebase, and third-party SDKs.
• Confident using Git and agile development workflows.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a large corporate or global business environment.
• Familiarity with Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment.
