Overview:
A leading global quantitative investment manager is seeking a Front End Developer to join their front office team, based in London. You’ll be building scalable, modern web applications and intuitive user interfaces for multi-market trading, collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver modern, scalable web applications and UIs for trading and research.
 - Apply strong UI principles to design powerful, user-friendly experiences.
 - Collaborate with team members to develop and optimize data-intensive applications.
 - Integrate real-time data, performance optimization, and visualization features.
 - Contribute to architectural decisions, trading tools, and process improvements.
 
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
 - 5+ years of professional software development experience.
 - Deep hands-on expertise in modern web stacks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and extensive experience with React.
 - Proven track record designing and building scalable web application architectures.
 - Experience with real-time data technologies (e.g., WebSockets, data streaming, performance optimization) is a strong plus.
 - Familiarity with data visualization libraries (Plotly, or AG-Grid charting components) is preferred.
 - Exposure to backend technologies, especially Python and FastAPI, is beneficial.
 - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and DevOps (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code) is an advantage.
