About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Design Lead to join our team. As a Product Design Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our 14+ product verticals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing designs.

This role is well suited for someone who loves systematic design, loves designing effortless experiences, thrives in the hustle of a startup and best of all, loves collaborating within a team to deliver exceptional experiences for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate with other designers, engineers and various stakeholders to ensure the feasibility of design implementations
• Willingness to mentor, support and guide other designers in the team
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing
• Maintain design system and contribute to its evolution
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design

What we’re looking for:

• A degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Product Design, UX
• Minimum 4+ years proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, ideally working across large scale projects
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
• Experience working with Design Systems focusing on configurable components for use in customer journeys through web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale
• A demonstrable portfolio of inspired, innovative work
• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
