Frontend Developer Intern (Unpaid)

We’re looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join our team as a Frontend Developer Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling, data visualization, and UI/UX design in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build engaging, responsive interfaces that power analytics and product-facing web applications.


What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and maintain frontend components using React.js and/or Next.js.
  • Collaborate with the design and backend teams to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Translate product requirements into functional, visually appealing UI/UX focused on data visualization and usability.
  • Create and refine graphics and visual elements to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain code quality.
  • Gain exposure to real-world analytics dashboards and storytelling with data.


What You’ll Learn and Contribute

  • Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
  • Application of UI/UX principles and responsive design best practices.
  • Integration of APIs (REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets) into production-ready features.
  • Collaborative development within a cross-functional startup team.
  • Data-driven product design and visualization.


What We’re Looking For

  • A solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Basic knowledge of React with personal or academic projects to show.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git).
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • A genuine passion for learning, design, and innovation.


Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (graphics design tools).
  • A good eye for visual design, branding, and layout aesthetics.
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices and accessibility (a11y).
  • Familiarity with Django (our backend framework).
  • Interest in data visualization and dashboard interfaces.
