You'll build native Android mobile applications. You will work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on the roadmap and continually maintain and improve a specific product area. You are responsible for large-scale projects, establishing best practices, and mentoring other team members. The team is a fast-moving, collaborative group dedicated to delivering high-quality features for the customers. They are passionate about positively impacting Canadians' lives through innovative health solutions that leverage the platform offerings. You'll work with a sophisticated tech stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and scalable architecture.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining native Android applications.
 - Understanding how to write high-quality, testable code and the tradeoffs between expediency and maintainability.
 - A strong UX and design sensibilities, and know how to bring complex designs to reality.
 - A strong communicator, you can explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers without a problem.
 - Eagerness and the ability to help fix things when they break.
 
- Experience working in a startup environment
 
- Build, test, and maintain native mobile applications, emphasizing Jetpack Compose, Navigation, CLEAN Architecture, and MVI to deliver modern, performant user interfaces.
 - Work with CI tools to support mobile builds and releases.
 - Participate in technical design and planning discussions.
 - Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance.
 - Collaborate with UX designers to build polished user interfaces.
 - Security-related:
 - Follow compliance with Information Security Policies
 - Regard with compliance with the company's secure coding practice
 - Take responsibility and accountability for executing the policies and procedures
 - Consider notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches, or policy violations.
