The Graduate Programme


As a participant in the Graduate Programme, you will undergo a comprehensive training curriculum that combines hands-on experience with specialized workshops. You will be exposed to various departments and projects, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of Allianz’ operations and strategic goals in Central Europe. Throughout the programme you will work closely with seasoned professionals and receive mentorship from trusted colleagues.

Responsibilities


  • Development of stochastic forecasting models (risk/cancellation/conversion models) and technical tariffs, including the use of state-of-the-art algorithms for data analysis (especially machine learning, data mining).
  • Actively shape product development and strategic initiatives within agile, cross-functional teams, taking on end-to-end responsibility.
  • Automate and optimize existing methods along the entire actuarial value chain with innovative ideas, including data construction and analysis, risk modeling, tariff development, and implementation.
  • Create and expand tools and dashboards for actuarial analysis of quoted and completed contracts, conduct analyses, and independently derive actionable recommendations from them.
  • Preparation of results and presentation to different stakeholders.
  • Exchange with international pricing colleagues on the latest developments.


Key requirements/What you bring


  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics, or a comparable field.
  • Interest in actuarial science and insurance business, ideally with initial practical experience. Alternatively, bring prior knowledge and practical experience in data modeling and analysis, machine learning, or data mining.
  • Experience in data handling and programming affinity (Python, PySpark, R, SAS, SQL, or similar).
  • Work independently and take on responsibility within the team. Additionally, possess the ability to clearly communicate complex issues
  • Excellent English skills (C1). Local Language is a plus but not mandatory.
