We are ICC, the International Association for Cereal Science and Technology, connecting the cereal sector and its spheres of influence worldwide. ICC is currently looking for a motivated candidate to strengthen its team at its headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
Project and Event Manager Assistant
(part-time min. 25hrs/week or full time)
Your field of responsibility
· You support international cooperation projects by assisting with core organizational and dissemination tasks
· You support in planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating international conferences, events, and webinars, maintaining close contact with sponsors by taking on independent tasks
· You manage small to medium-sized cooperative projects (planning, control, completion)
· You are supporting the communication and promotion of research results through websites, social media and printed material including drafting, editing and sending texts for newsletters and social media posts, leaflets, roll-ups and posters by taking on independent tasks
· You continuously support our partner organisations (research institutes, companies etc.)
· You prepare status reports and regularly update stakeholders and management
Your profile:
· Completed training (business focused school or college) or studies in agronomy, business administration, communication, project management, food science or comparable qualification
· A solid commercial and/or project management education is an advantage
· You have already gained professional experience
· You bring a hands-on mentality with you by the willingness to tackle challenges directly, take responsibility, and find practical solutions
· Your English skills are excellent, and you can use them well in written form and communication; your German skills are at least very good
· You are friendly, service- and solution-orientated and behave respectfully and confidently in all situations
· You bring in strong interest in the sustainable food and cereal industry, ideally you have basic knowledge and/or experience in food/cereal science and technology.
· You bring in a high level of connectivity to the interests of science, business and public institutions

Start and place of the position: as of now / 1010 Vienna/Austria. A minimum basic salary of EUR 2.800 gross (based on full-time) applies to the advertised position. We will determine your specific salary depending on your background and skills in the course of the hiring process.
