This Position reports to:
Project Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
As a Project Manager in the field of automation, you will be responsible for managing projects in the process industry (oil & gas and chemical sectors) as well as in the area of hydropower plants. With strong technical expertise and ideally several years of project experience, you ensure the successful implementation of both technical and commercial requirements. In doing so, you are able to build long-term customer relationships while sustainably increasing project revenue and profitability.
- Management of automation projects, including technical and commercial risk assessment based on calculations and technical drawings. You analyze requirement specifications, assess feasibility, and structure projects from the proposal phase through to execution and final review.
 - Selection of suitable internal and external suppliers, and close collaboration with Sales, Customers, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project Management leadership to ensure smooth project execution.
 - Independent control of schedules and budgets throughout the entire project lifecycle. You regularly report to management on risks or major deviations and provide comprehensive project reporting as part of project reviews.
 - Organization and supervision of installations and commissioning at project sites, as well as coordination of internal and external customer acceptances. By actively identifying customer potential and follow-up projects on-site, you contribute to long-term customer retention and business development.
 
- Completed education in Electrical Engineering (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University), preferably with a focus on Power Engineering or Automation Technology
 - Experience in electrical plant engineering as well as in the design and implementation of projects
 - Solid commercial knowledge, excellent MS Office skills, and ideally experience with SAP
 - Fluent in German and proficient in English
 - Category B driving license
 - Strong communication and presentation skills, flexibility, and initiative
 - You are used to working in a team, place great importance on cost-conscious thinking and acting, and are open to travel as part of your role
