As a Network Engineer, you assist in managing, monitoring, and optimizing network infrastructure. You help troubleshoot network issues, configure network devices, and contribute to the security and efficiency of the IT environment.


Your primary duties and responsibilities will encompass:

  • Assist in maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (LAN, WAN).
  • Support the setup and maintenance of network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure the network operates efficiently.
  • Provide technical support for network issues, resolving or escalating problems as needed.
  • Work with senior engineers on network projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Execute change requests and manage incident tickets (with Root Cause Analysis, if necessary)
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • MORE role: You will be assigned to monitor events and handle incidents reported from our systems and customer base.
  • Standby: Participate in the on-call rotation after completing the initial training period to provide ongoing support.


How do you qualify for this position?

Hard Skills

  • Basic Routing Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental routing protocols (e.g., RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Cisco Switching: Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst switches, VLAN configuration, and basic switch management.
  • Networking Protocols: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, and other core networking protocols.
  • Network Security: Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network access control.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and packet analyzers (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., CheckMK).
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) and ticketing systems: Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow and Jira).
  • Remote support tools: Can provide remote technical support via remote support tools (e.g. TeamViewer, Teams and Remote Desktop)
