Technical Power BI Consultant – Brussels (Hybrid, Long-Term Mission)
We’re looking for a Technical Power BI Consultant to join a long-term data reporting and analytics initiative within a major Brussels-based organization. This 24-month mission focuses on delivering robust Power BI reporting solutions across finance, HR, operations, and regulatory domains.
Your Role
As a Technical Power BI Consultant, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrated dashboards, reports, and alerting systems using Microsoft Power BI.
 - Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to consolidate data from multiple sources such as SAP ECC6, SAP ISU, and HR systems (including legacy databases like Software AG, Windev, etc.).
 - Build and optimize ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow between the data lake, data warehouse, and visualization layers.
 - Support financial, customer service, HR, and regulatory reporting (CSRD, Taxonomy, Brugel, etc.).
 - Manage the operational maintenance and performance monitoring of the Power BI environment.
 - Ensure full compliance with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 standards.
 
Your Profile
- Proven experience in technical Power BI implementation (end-to-end).
 - Strong expertise in:
 - Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
 - ETL design and multidimensional modelling
 - SQL (including partitioning)
 - SAP ECC / S4HANA data integration
 - Experience in utilities or public sector environments is a strong asset.
 - Trilingual: English, French, and Dutch (professional proficiency).
 - Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Fundamentals, Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals) are a plus.
 
Practical Details
- Location: Brussels (hybrid – 3 days/week on-site)
 - Duration: 24 months (renewable)
 - Start date: November 2025
