The Redesign Group is expanding its Product Design squad to support a rapidly growing innovation group responsible for creating highly personalized digital experiences. This includes the development of our new Redesign Portal, a complete digital transformation platform focused on increasing the velocity of value creation for employees, partners, and customers. As a Backend Developer within the Product Development squad, you'll report to the Chief Innovation Officer within the Customer Experience Design & Innovation division of Redesign. You'll collaborate with a team of 35+ cross-functional resources ranging from Business Stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Software Developers, Platform & Data Service Engineers, IT Operations, and Security Operations.
As a Backend Software Developer, with Golang experience, you will be instrumental in architecting and implementing backend services and infrastructure for the Redesign Portal — which includes application modules across web, desktop, and mobile use cases, as well as AI-powered service experiences. Your role will ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and performance-optimized, supporting internal users and external clients alike. This position is a hybrid role based in our Paris office, located in the Le Marais neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Golang
 - Build scalable, cloud-native solutions using Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
 - Develop secure, high-performance APIs and services with support for REST, GraphQL, and other integration paradigms
 - Deploy services to AWS, GCP, or similar cloud environments and manage virtualized systems
 - Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to align backend services with UX and platform goals
 - Leverage SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling best practices to design scalable database solutions
 - Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and observability
 - Manage authentication and authorization backends to support secure user access and platform integrations
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Golang and web application development
 - Proficient in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker
 - Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS or GCP, and virtualization technologies
 - Deep understanding of web architecture including CDNs, load balancers, REST APIs, and service orchestration
 - Experience with databases: SQL, NoSQL, and GraphQL
 - Familiarity with observability tools, logging, and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
 - Strong understanding of authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, etc.)
 - Working proficiency in English (spoken and written); French is a plus
