Are you a passionate front-end developer who thrives on building scalable, user-focused applications? We’re looking for a highly experienced React Developer to join our team remotely from Dublin. This role is ideal for someone with deep MERN stack expertise and a strong background in front-end development. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes—especially from Figma—into functional, elegant user interfaces.
- Integrate seamlessly with back-end services built on Node.js and Express, and manage data via MongoDB.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques using tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development speed and code quality.
- Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment processes.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong focus on React.js.
- Proven experience building full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is essential.
- Experience working with UX designers and importing wireframes from Figma.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot).
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end workflows.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git version control, and agile development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment.
- Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance-related platforms and workflows.
- Exposure to Redux, Next.js, or other modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
