Intermediate .NET Developer

Location: Dublin 8

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Contract Duration: 6 months

Start Date: January 2026


About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate .NET Developer with 4–6 years of professional experience to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact consultancy projects across both public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a strong technical foundation, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

As part of this role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and implementation of .NET-based systems, providing technical leadership and knowledge transfer to support teams.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality, 4 years’ experience, and the ability to deliver results within defined project timelines. You will be comfortable engaging with clients at both working and strategic levels, and confident mentoring less experienced developers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop components for the Training Framework Support System.
  • Support the development and business teams in delivering software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server databases (stored procedures, triggers), including backup, restore, and performance tuning.
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of .NET applications.
  • Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.


Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail Criteria)

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in .NET application design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Proven 4 years’ experience experience with SQL Server back-end systems.
  • Qualifications: Active certification in Microsoft security and compliance solutions such as AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-401, or equivalent.
  • Degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. (Evidence of qualifications and certifications may be required prior to contract award.)
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English - Non-native English speakers must hold a C2 (Mastery/Proficiency) certificate or equivalent under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).


Key Skills and Competencies (4 years’ experience)

  • Hands-on experience implementing .NET-based software using technologies such as .NET Core, C#, VB, MVC, JQuery, SQL Server.
  • Experience developing user interfaces using Angular framework.
  • Strong background in database development, maintenance, and tuning.
  • Proven ability in developing and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and code management.
  • Ability to lead small teams and engage effectively with clients.
