About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Data Scientist to take ownership of our data infrastructure and analytics systems. You’ll ensure that our data is reliable, scalable, and insightful, powering key product, growth, and business decisions.

Your work will span the full data lifecycle — from building robust pipelines and models to analyzing SaaS performance metrics and A/B tests that guide our strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines connecting various sources (product analytics, payments, CRM, marketing, etc.) to a central warehouse.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track product and business KPIs.
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation with reliable, well-modeled data.
  • Build and automate dashboards and analytical tools for real-time visibility.
  • Develop and document business logic for key metrics (e.g., active users, conversions, churn).
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and continuously improve data systems.


Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data processing and analytics.
  • Experience with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL pipeline design.
  • Proven experience working with SaaS metrics — able to calculate and interpret:
  • ARPU, LTV, CAC, MRR, ARR, Retention, Churn Rate, and related KPIs.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experiment analysis, and statistical reasoning.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4).


Nice to Have

  • Experience with payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
  • Understanding of machine learning for predictive analytics.
