Senior Java developer
About the Role
Join a cross-functional development squad working on business-facing digital solutions used daily by advisers and customers for online and in-person financial meetings. The team builds cloud-native systems with a strong focus on code quality, performance, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Refactor and simplify existing codebase
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones
- Participate in production releases and incident management
- Design and develop cloud-native applications
- Write and maintain unit tests
- Coach and mentor less experienced developers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development (Kotlin experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, JUnit, MQ, Elasticsearch
- Experience building solutions for cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles (Azure DevOps experience a plus)
- Strong sense of ownership, code quality, and team collaboration
- Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
