Our client is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Windows-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments. You will join the Continuous Delivery Windows team, where you’ll play a key role in automating, maintaining, and optimizing the Windows Server platform and related infrastructure that supports DUO and OCW operations.

Your work will focus on improving system reliability, implementing automation, and enhancing infrastructure performance using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. Collaboration is central to this role — you’ll work closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partners, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and manage Windows Server platform services and infrastructure in line with organizational and security standards
• Perform technical administration and oversee PaaS-related changes across environments
• Evaluate and implement change requests for infrastructure components and identify potential risks or issues
• Prepare, execute, and assess test and pre-production deployments
• Advise stakeholders on technical solutions and platform improvements
• Contribute to the modernization and evolution of the Windows Server ecosystem using Ansible, GitLab, and Chocolatey
• Develop and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure high system availability and performance
• Design automation and tooling to prevent incidents and streamline change deployment
• Maintain relationships with vendors and external network partners connected to the DUO environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience managing Windows Server platforms (including Windows Server 2022 and earlier versions)
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, storage, compute, and certificate management
• Proven experience with PowerShell scripting (minimum 3 years)
• Proficiency in Ansible, AWX/Ansible Automation Platform, GitLab, and Chocolatey

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AGPM, DFS, MSCS, DNS, and WSUS
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services
• Working knowledge of VMware vSphere or VCF environments
