In Detail, You Will Take On The Following Tasks

• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of mobile applications (iOS and/OR Android) and related software components.
• Engage in the full life cycle of a product, from early concepts and prototypes to full deployment.
• Work with reactive, multi-layered architectures to meet the challenges of large-scale projects. We adapt platform-specific architecture guidelines (Google’s for Android, Apple’s for iOS) and follow best practices such as unidirectional data flow and a single source of truth.
• Transform demanding functional requirements into high-quality, performant, and cost-efficient mobile applications. Performance, testability, and extensibility are our key pillars.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure confidence in every release. Whether through screenshot testing or CI/CD pipelines, quality assurance is built into our process.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and agile Scrum teams, supporting specialist departments in designing and specifying functional requirements.
• Take an active part in our mobile community — whether Android or iOS — by exchanging knowledge, exploring new tools, and engaging in meetups such as our monthly Mobile Breakfasts, tech events like Google I/O or WWDC, and our annual TechDay.

Your Skills – What You Bring To The Table

• Strong experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Android: Proficiency with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, familiarity with Android frameworks, Material Design Guidelines, and dependency management (Gradle).
• iOS: Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI, strong understanding of iOS frameworks, and adherence to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience working with cross-platform technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Flutter, or React Native is a plus.
• Solid grasp of SOLID principles, clean code practices, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating backend systems via RESTful or GraphQL APIs and collaborating on API specifications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git, Git Flow).
• Ability to design and implement responsive UIs for various form factors (smartphone, tablet, Wear OS, watchOS, etc.).
• Good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
