Information Security Officer

Our client is a medium sized Dutch Energy Company undergoing massive growth. They are looking for Medior - Senior Information Security Officers to join their office in Amsterdam (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

Please note: Dutch Speaking Role - full professional level of Dutch is required

Job Description

• Supporting functions such as Privacy, Audit & Risk, and Legal & Compliance.
• Provide expert advice on information security in areas such as: architecture, Cloud security, DevSecOps processes, Software Development
• Take responsibility for maintaining strong information security within the value stream.
• Focus on both technology and processes to achieve this objective.
• Act as a trusted discussion partner and raise awareness about security.
• Identify and signal possible improvements at both tactical and operational levels.
• Support teams by: Identifying and implementing security measures + Developing requirements and subject-specific policies.
• Aim to integrate security as an inherent aspect of team operations - Ensure teams understand and operate within established security frameworks.
• Initiate and ensure the correct implementation of risk management practices.
• Monitor adherence to security frameworks, such as ISO27001.
• Ensure proper handling and accurate registration of security incidents.
• Facilitate the resolution of vulnerabilities and security incidents.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as a sparring partner and trusted advisor.
• Raise awareness and encourage teams to take ownership of their security responsibilities.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch
• Based in The Netherlands
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the information security domain.
• Our client does not offer sponsorship and therefore the candidate will be required to have EU citizenship

• Base Salary: 8+ years exp (7/8k per annum) 3-6 years exp (5-6.5k per annum)
