We’re hiring a Backend Engineer (Python / FastAPI / PostgreSQL)
Hi everyone!
InData Labs is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team working on a new AI-powered analytics product in the trading & quantitative finance domain.
It’s a challenging, highly technical project — combining AI reasoning, real-time market data, and high-performance backend architecture.
You’ll work closely with a senior engineer focused on AI logic and quant models, while fully owning the backend foundation — from database design to data pipelines and system performance.
🔧 What you’ll work on
- Building and optimizing PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB for time-series data
- Developing FastAPI backend services
- Designing data ingestion and async job pipelines (Celery / RabbitMQ / Redis)
- Managing system monitoring, performance, and reliability
- Working with NumPy, Numba, and other tools for speed and scalability
💡 We’re looking for someone who
- Has 4+ years of Python backend experience
- Knows how to design efficient database schemas
- Understands async programming and distributed systems
- Cares about performance, structure, and clean code
- Feels comfortable working independently and taking ownership
