AI Engineer

Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team of software engineers and data scientists.

We move quickly and require someone who can keep up-to-date with the fast moving AI industry, is an effective communicator, and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

You will be working closely with technical, business, and infrastructure squads on AI / Generative AI-related processes and projects.

You will be able to get hands-on experience with projects that fulfil our business requirements, and be able to contribute to the AI space and processes in the organisation.

• Roles & Responsibility
• Develop intelligent solutions using Agentic frameworks, LLMs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to deliver fast and scalable services across the organisation
• Working closely with software / data science team to understand and solution requirements
• Deploying and productionising ML models/GenAI models on company infrastructure
• MLOps: Maintaining and upkeep of existing AI models on company infrastructure, including monitoring for data drifts and hallucinations
• Contributing and researching on AI frameworks and AI-safety evaluations of domain-trained models
• Stay up to date on AI developments and be able to introduce AI / GenAI solutions for existing processes as an AI subject matter expert.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for AI, especially in context of financial services industry
• Occasional knowledge-transfer and internal workshops on AI-related topics

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / computer engineering / data science or similar field, or equivalent experience / certifications
• At least 1 year working with deploying / productionising large-language models (LLMs). Fine-tuning / domain adaptation of LLMs is a plus
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python
• Experience in working with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) processes
• Experience in frameworks such as scikit-learn, pytorch, langchain or other machine-learning/agent frameworks
• Experience in working with Hugging Face, MLFlow or similar platforms
• Experience with Docker/containerization platforms
• Experience with shell scripting and Linux
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and driven to learn
