  • Closely connected to the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Jožef Stefan Institute
  • Due to a significant increase in workload, we are expanding our team


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A backend developer proficient in Java (experience in Kotlin is a plus)
  • With knowledge of server-side frameworks like Ktor, Spring and Hibernate
  • A solid grasp on database technologies, like PostgreSQL and MongoDB experience with Redis is a 

bonus

  • Familiar or is eager to learn MQTT, experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, 

RabbitMQ) is a bonus

  • Experience with RESTful services and integrating APIs
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, version 

control with Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Edge computing technologies is a bonus
