Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct migration of repositories from Atlassian Bamboo to GitHub Actions ensuring seamless integration and functionality
• Verify and troubleshoot connections relying on git repositories such as CI/CD and cloud deployment
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate workflows and optimize deployment processes
• Ensure security and efficiency of pipelines adhering to best practices
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to ensure understanding of migration processes and data integrity
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate services and manage deployments effectively
• Document migration procedures and pipeline configurations for future reference
• Monitor pipeline performance and address any issues promptly
• Participate in code and infrastructure reviews to maintain quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps engineering with 3+ years in relevant roles
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code practices using AWS Cloud Development Kit
• Experience working with Atlassian Bamboo and repository migration projects
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Bamboo Specs for pipeline definitions
• Previous experience in insurance or financial services industry
• Certifications in AWS or DevOps methodologies
