As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking (Wealth Management), you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

- Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
- Participate in a digital technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
- Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
- Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
- Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
- Formal training or certification on IOS concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands on experience on iOS development using Swift
- Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreData, Combine, and other iOS frameworks.
- Experience working in system design, architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.), and design principles.
- Experience in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Use of Frameworks and APIs like Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, Core Data.
- Experience in using Xcode provided tools like Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, Instruments for Profiling.
- 5+ years experience designing and implementing iOS applications
- 5+ years of combined software/application development experience in Swift and Objective-C
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Degree in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university or five years equivalent development experience.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
- Familiarity with TestFlight, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, and dependency management
