The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior C# Developer to architect and build enterprise-grade trading and risk management systems.
You'll design robust middle-tier solutions for high-frequency trading environments, working directly with traders, portfolio managers, and quants to understand complex financial products and translate requirements into scalable systems.
Technical Skills:
• 7+ years of professional C# and .NET development experience
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and messaging architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, TIBCO, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns: microservices, event sourcing, domain-driven design
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases in high-volume environments
• Strong async/await, multi-threading, and concurrent programming skills
Domain Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of financial products: equity derivatives, fixed income instruments, structured products
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, pricing models, risk calculations, and market data handling
• Experience working directly with trading systems (not just data transfer/ETL roles)
• Understanding of how products are structured, priced, and mature throughout their lifecycle
Working Arrangement
• Hybrid role: Minimum 2 days per week in London office
• Core hours overlap with US trading hours for London-based employees
• Regular video calls with distributed team members
• On-site collaboration with business users and stakeholders
