Senior API Developer

We've partnered with a company in the financial services space who are looking for a Senior API Engineer to help build the APIs that power their digital services.

This is a chance to work with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and modern cloud platforms to deliver secure, high-performing APIs.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and maintain APIs that are reliable, reusable, and scalable

• Ensure APIs meet standards for security, performance, and maintainability

• Automate testing and CI/CD to streamline delivery

• Deploy and manage services on OpenShift and AWS

• Collaborate across teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions

About you:

• Experienced software engineer with a focus on API development

• Comfortable with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot in complex environments

• Knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and cloud deployment

• Familiar with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring tools

• Curious, adaptable, and able to work in a collaborative team
