Job Description

The Global Brand Design Manager plays a key role in shaping, developing, and delivering Chiquita’s global brand strategy, campaigns and creative assets — from the first concept to full-scale production. This position leads the creative development process in close collaboration with Chiquita’s global creative agency, ensuring design excellence, brand consistency, and innovation across all consumer touchpoints.

In addition, the role supports brand innovation initiatives, spanning commercial and product innovation to new visual expressions, transforming strategic ideas into impactful creative executions.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence global campaigns and drive brand evolution at Chiquita’s global headquarters in Etoy, Switzerland, working alongside a passionate, cross-functional marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Global Brand Campaign Developme
  • Lead the end-to-end creative development for Chiquita’s global brand campaigns — from concept ideation to final asset production.
  • Oversee production of campaign assets across multiple formats (digital, social, OOH, packaging, POS, etc.).
  • Ensure brand consistency and creative quality across all markets and communication channels.

Qualifications

  • Creative Agency Collaboration & Project Management
  • Act as the point of contact for Chiquita’s global creative agency, managing creative briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (media, social, innovation, and local marketing teams) to ensure integrated 360° campaign execution.
  • Supervise adaptation and localization of global assets in partnership with regional marketing teams. With priority on US, Italy and Germany.
  • Brand Design & Visual Identity
  • Safeguard and evolve the Chiquita visual identity system, ensuring coherent application worldwide.
  • Update and expand brand guidelines to reflect creative evolution, new formats, and emerging design trends.
  • Partner with packaging, trade marketing, and digital teams to guarantee a unified brand experience.
  • Brand Innovation & Product Design
  • Support brand innovation projects through creative direction, design thinking, and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with R&D, innovation, and product development teams to visualize new product concepts and design territories.
  • Contribute to the creative development of packaging, naming, and launch assets for innovation projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Design, Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in brand design, creative development, or campaign management, ideally within FMCG or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven experience in developing and producing global brand campaigns in collaboration with creative agencies.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, design systems, and brand identity management.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Italian will be considered a plus.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing multi-market campaigns and global-local asset rollouts.
  • Knowledge of packaging design, shopper marketing, and digital creative production.
  • Passion for creativity, design culture, and continuous innovation.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a cross-functional, international environment
