  • Location: Canberra
  • Start Date: Targeted start date of January through to March 2026
  • Qualification: Currently enrolled in a university program with either interest in technology projects or an academic degree in technology or engineering, with at least 12 months of studies remaining. You should be genuinely excited about building a career future in technology.
  • Time Commitment: The early career program is designed to allow you to complete your study while gaining work experience. There is an expectation that the role is either part time or full time for some part of your study year.
  • The role requires a commitment of 12 months, lasting until the date of graduation or completion of study requirements from the university. This timeframe ensures sufficient onboarding and meaningful work experience, allowing the intern to fully immerse themselves in the role and contribute effectively to the team.
  • Regarding working hours per week, minimum is 2 days per week however this can increase to 4 days per week.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role serving Government clients, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.

  • Role Description:

    As a Technology Associate Intern at Accenture, you'll be involved in various aspects of technology projects, including design, implementation, and integration. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives. Here are some of the exciting tasks you may be involved:

    System Analysis and Design: Analyse business requirements and design technology solutions to meet client needs.

    Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects.

    Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

    Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

    Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions.

    Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and innovations to recommend improvements.

    Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform and custom-designed solutions.

    Additional Requirements:

    This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

    On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.

  • Must not have been terminated from a Gov agency or received poor performance feedback.
  • Must have lived in Australia for 2.5 years of the past 5 years.
  • Must be up to date with tax requirements.
