Android Developer to Digital Channels | SEB, Solna

Private and Corporate Digital Channels mission is to provide a world-class customer experience for SEB customers. The channels we are covering are different segments within our Business, such as Internet bank, Business arena, Mobile applications and Nexus.

Now we are seeking for our new star in Android development who is driven to influence our application development for the present and for the future!

What You Will Be Doing

As an Android developer you will work with development of SEB's mobile applications for private, corporate and youth customers. You will be a part of a cross functional team consisting of colleagues working with development, test and integration. In the role you will develop, maintain, design and implement new user-facing applications. The applications displays most of SEB's services, therefore you will collaborate with a large variety of colleagues both from the IT and Business area. The applications are used by a large number of consumers, therefore we are actively ensuring that it is robust, scalable and accessible 24/7/365.

Another important part of your role is to pay attention to the practices and methodologies used in mobile development and share the knowledge with other team members.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you take your own initiative in a technically competent team. As a person you can be constructive in a group and be inspired by taking responsibility and driving change through new technology. Thus, you will have the ability to collaborate with multiple colleagues, strong communication skills, driven and have an analytical mindset. You have a great interest in tools, architecture and design.

We believe that you have:

• Experience in working with Native Android development in Java / Kotlin
• Experience in working with WebViews and developing hybrid apps
• Experience of working with REST Api is desirable, experience in web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript) is meritorious
• Fluency in English is required as it is our corporate language
