Senior Frontend Engineer (React + Redux)

We're a U.S.-based SaaS startup seeking an expert React/Redux Frontend Engineer to work directly with our hands-on CTO. This long-term role suits someone who values clean architecture, scalable code, and thoughtful UI design.

What You'll Do

  • Lead development and scaling of a React.js + Redux application with modern patterns (hooks, context, lazy loading)
  • Architect maintainable, modular component structures and establish state management standards with Redux Toolkit
  • Refactor and optimize for performance — memoization, code splitting, dynamic imports, and rendering efficiency
  • Ensure clean, predictable data flow and consistent UI behavior across the app
  • Collaborate with backend and design teams to ship reliable, high-quality features
  • Review code, uphold best practices, and mentor other frontend contributors

Requirements

  • Expert in React.js and Redux, including hooks, middleware, and architectural patterns
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), async flow, and browser performance
  • Proven experience structuring and scaling production-grade frontends
  • Strong debugging and profiling skills (React DevTools, performance audits)
  • Familiarity with build and automation tools (Webpack, Babel, npm scripts)
  • Committed to clean, testable, and maintainable code
  • Excellent communication and collaboration; available during U.S. hours
